25th Ward Aldermanic Forum – Foro de Candidatos a Concejal del Distrito 25

The 25th Ward Collective will host an aldermanic forum before the February 28 th elections.

Moderated by Anthony Ponce, Fox 32 News anchor and reporter, candidates Alderman Byron Sigcho López and Aida Flores will answer questions from our community regarding the different issues that 25th Ward residents currently face. Both candidates are confirmed to attend. Issue areas include property taxes/displacement, housing developments, commercial and community facilities developments, industrial areas/jobs, environmental/health, education/schools, public safety, youth engagement, local businesses/commercial strip, and new immigrant arrivals. Pilsen has been changing drastically over the last couple years and the new leadership will oversee the future of the neighborhood. This is an opportunity for the community to see where the candidates stand on each issue and what they believe in, all affecting how they could shape the 25th Ward if elected.

WHY: This election will determine the future of the 25th Ward and the candidates can showcase their ideas to the community at the forum.
