Be a Leader for Justice:
Join the Latino Legal Institute Today!

At Pilsen Neighbors Community Council, we are deeply committed to the belief that every individual deserves to live a life free from discrimination, regardless of their class, race, religion, or immigration status. It is with this unwavering commitment in mind that we are excited to introduce the Latino Legal Institute (LLI), and we invite you to join us in making a positive impact on our community.

The Latino Legal Institute is a pivotal initiative that seeks to promote fairness, humanity, and equity within our transformational justice system, with a primary focus on individuals who have been adversely affected by the system. Our goal is to create a safe and supportive space that offers Pro-Bono legal services on a range of critical issues that our community members may face. Below are some of the actions that our leaders have tirelessly undertaken:

Immigration Assistance: Providing vital legal guidance and support to immigrants navigating the complexities of immigration laws and regulations.

Driver’s License Reinstatement: Assisting individuals in reclaiming their driving privileges, which is often a crucial step toward rebuilding their lives.

Criminal Records Expungement: Empowering individuals to remove barriers associated with past criminal records, helping them to secure better opportunities and a fresh start.

Leadership is not merely a title; it is a commitment to making a positive impact through action. We invite you to become a leader for justice by joining the Latino Legal Institute (LLI), a vital initiative of the Pilsen Neighbors Community Council.

PNCC has a long-standing commitment to providing leadership training that equips organizations and community members with the tools and knowledge they need to become effective advocates. We believe that when individuals are empowered, they can create lasting change in their communities.

Inaugural Auxiliary Board of the Latino Legal Institute (LLI)

For many years, the Pilsen neighborhood has been a refuge for displaced families, facing significant challenges due to a lack of investment and resources. Pilsen Neighbors Community Council (PNCC) emerged as a catalyst and organizer, leading numerous campaigns to address these issues. Our efforts span across several critical areas, including education, immigration, and environmental justice.

The Latino Legal Institute (LLI) is a crucial pillar of PNCC. Our mission is to advocate for fairness, humanity, and equity within the justice system, with a primary focus on those affected by it. We offer Pro-Bono legal services to address various community needs, including immigration assistance, driver’s license reinstatement, and criminal record expungement.
