Bella Rios, one of our Pilsen Neighbors Community Council’s Fuerza del Sol and Fiesta del Sol – Sol Team leaders, got the opportunity to ask Mayor Lori Lightfoot a question during the City of Chicago Budget Youth Town Hall. Bella is a representative for the Pilsen community for the Mayor’s Youth Commission.

Bella asked “Will environmental issues be included in the budget? Including clean water and led-free pipes.” which the Mayor responded by saying “short answer is yess…absolutely”.
